JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Lead our business development efforts in client acquisition and creating new business opportunities to maintain and further GVT’s competitive edge in ultra-precision machining, complex mechatronics assembly and advance materials capabilities
• Develop and execute business development strategies to position GVT to be the leading manufacturing solutions and services provider in Asia Pacific
• Lead strategic account penetration efforts and engage with key customers’ next-gen products and developments
• Accelerate GVT’s growth by exploring potential leads and partnerships as well as leveraging on GVT’s value proposition to grow existing client accounts
• Develop sales and revenue forecast and marketing plan for key client accounts
• Periodically conduct market competitiveness analysis to develop targeted revenue growth strategies
• Leverage on your extensive network and contacts to gain market intelligence and position GVT to capture new business opportunities across various industries
• A ‘trusted advisor’ for clients and partners to promote our deep expertise and leading manufacturing solutions so as to build an aggressive qualified pipeline
• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients, proposing innovative solutions to value-add to their operations and businesses
• Understand client pain points and communicate their requirements for continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- At least 15 years of Business Development experience in the precision engineering field
- Deep knowledge and network in semiconductor, life sciences or medical market
- A proven track record in business development and account management in relevant industry
- Possess an exceptional relationship management skill
- A proven ability to demonstrate growth mind-set in a professional capacity
- An excellent collaborator who influences and creates executive interest for a company’s solutions and offerings to drive local and regional growth
- Self-driven and result oriented with excellent presentation, communication, planning and interpersonal skills
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Willing to travel regionally and/or globally
